Alex Ivany is a filmmaker, editor, and producer based in Los Angeles, originally from Santa Cruz, California. His love of storytelling began at an early age, documenting family history and preserving the stories of the people around him. What started as a personal curiosity grew into a career dedicated to finding the emotional truth at the heart of every project.

Over the past decade, Alex has worked across documentary film, television, branded content, commercials, and digital media. His credits include the Academy Award nominated Netflix documentary 13th, Apple TV's Shrinking, the television series Queen Sugar and Cherish the Day, as well as projects for major brands, networks, and cultural institutions.
